Rebecca Close writes expansively through poetry, ceramics & creative coding. They are currently researching the facial dimension of the interface & the labour dimension of the network for their Kone Foundation funded doctoral research on queer reproduction and the internet. They have been based in Barcelona for a decade where they have contributed to various art and poetry collectives including Diasporas críticasCritical Días & Canal. Their book valid, virtual, vegetable reality won the 2017 Melita Hume Prize.
