Joey Frances is based in Manchester, where he co-organises the reading series Peter Barlow’s Cigarette, and the radical poetry festival Poetry Emergency. His poetry publications include a l'instar de (Knives Forks and Spoons, 2016), and Cash/Sex, with Bryony Bates (Generic Greeting, 2019). He is currently working on a PhD on contemporary poetry and resistance at the University of Salford.
